Day after Climbing to the top! Now I am inviting you to come along to our love date. We are not going to walk uphill again. This time, we are going to sail our boat to the other side of the fjord.
For Skywatch Friday
This is the place where our boat is moored. Nice reflection of the clouds on the water.
This one too! It is like we are going to drown under!
Now we arrived on the other side of the fjord. Took us ca 45 minutes to sail the boat.
Have to sit down and wait for my husband. This is our boat. My hubby invited me to eat lunch here in a restaurant called Guri Kunna. A restaurant who served seafoods buffet on Sundays.
Guri Kunna is a well know name. According to the legend, she was the queen of the underworld.
It is a very small place. Behind me is a small grocery store " Joker". It is the only shop for the residents here to buy their necessary needs. Or else they have to drive half an hour trip to the big town.
Anyway, we are going to walk along this park.
And this small playground for the kids.
Here is the sign showing where we can find " Guri Kunna's place".
We have to walk ca. one kilometer.
And as always, we have to capture the beauty along the way. This is an old bicycle used as a place to put flower decoration. Very creative.
An old fire station! This is not use anymore.
For Color Connection
Flowers by the wayside.
At last Guri Kunna Restaurant. But we came half an hour earlier. They are not open yet. So we still have time to look around.
Let us take a look what they have here in the Museum!
Remnants of war!
And the sheeps having a nice time:)
Facing the sea. Beautiful!
An anchor! It is for my hubby coz he is a seaman:)
Very nice view here too!
Anyway, here was a place for soldiers before, but now it is a recreation center for hospital's patients. .
Take some rest on the bench, while we wait!
A small bridge to cross over!
At last the restaurant is open. But no customers yet, but us.
Their salad corner!
Dessert!
Fruits if you want!
Here is my appetizer: blue mussels and fish soup
Main course!
With salad.
And for dessert. Actually, we can eat all we can, but my stomach has no room for more.
We didn't even taste these dishes. And we have all the foods just for ouselves. No customers, just us!
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to be with us in our love date. Me and this sheep say bye for now coz my hubby is camera shy. Until next time again :)
JOY
The clouds on the water certainly looked strangely spectacular. They went deep down to the fjord! Those norwegian villages are fun too. There is buildings, everything is tidy and something has been done...but there is nobody to see. Where are they?
ReplyDeleteyes, this is wonderful place to see, but there are few people. I didn't take pictures of the people I saw. A few of them. maybe they don't want to be shown in my blog. Thanks for visiting cloudbusting!

ReplyDeleteThanks Tal for the nice commemt and visiting:,)
ReplyDeleteSorry that the original comment I left here yesterday went off. I don't know this happens, maybe connection glitch.
ReplyDeleteBut I said, Give thanks and always celebrate how God brought you to where you are now. The beauty and peace would always make me Praise and Thank the Creator of this garden. I believe too that Norwegians are peace-loving people and they have a simplicity akin to nature and their surroundings. The space speaks for God, His magnitude and splendor.
If I were given the chance to choose where to be, I'd choose Norway or Holland and New Zealand. Sa atin ay sasabihin: "Peso na lang ang pamasahe papuntang langit..." And I mean it thaat the place makes me closer to God, simply by the sight of it.
Sending you blessings overflowing and to your family there and here in our country.
Thank you so much sis Lolita. Your words really touched my heart. Blessings to you too:)
