Yes, it is winter...but

After raining for so many days, the snow came again today and it is white all over.
Well, I know that for some they love the snow and I must admit it is beautiful until my shoulders and hands are aching for shoveling the snow.
Anyway, here are the continution of the series pictures which I had taken last summer. Again..to lighten up mine and your's day!

Included words to ponder in between pictures!

Do you believe? Jesus has reisen...indeed!
Yes, we heard the story. ..countless times. But, do we believe? If so..is He alive in our hearts?

Do we love having Him around? Or do we feel awful having Him watching us in all we do? Knowing our thoughts and desires of our hearts?

Whatever the feeling...it is for our benefits that Jesus has risen...because then we don't have to be afraid of the future.

We only need to believe. Be cleansed and purified and enjoy the fellowship of God.

So today, O Jesus, remind us of all the good things You had done and that You will always be alived in our hearts in every moments of our time.

- Live as Christ died yesterday, arose this morning and is coming back tomorow.

So be alive in Christ my friends.

Wishing you a day with full of love, colors and happiness.

Painting my day...and yours!

Hello eveyone!  Yes, it is weekend once again and here in my place, it is raining and I can hear almost  the wind  is telling me: " Go ahead, jus lay down in your bed and relax because I have a work to do today.
Anyway, although I wanted to, I have chores to be done. Home to clean, which I am thankful that I have. Piles of laundry to be washed, but I am thankful for I have lots of clothes to wear.

And because it is gray around me, I want to paint my day with pictures that I took last summer. Some of them, because I still have many to share as I mentioned in my last post. These pictures are the continuation of yesterday's post.

Hope you enjoy too! In between the pictures, I wrote words to ponder that I hope will make you more closer to our Creator. Creator of this beautiful nature.

To be continued..
Yes, New Year and new chapter in our lives. Our life stories continues until when and where?

This life that we have is only the first chapter of our book of life. Whether it will be long or short, it is not the end, but to be continued. So I hope it will continue in heaven with the Lord.

What will be the next chapter for you. .for me this year?

" Life's fleeting days will be over
When death ends all that's gone before;
Yet life in Christ continues still
For
all who lived to do His will" - DJD

-Death is the last chapter of time, but the first chapter of eternity.

But while we are still here on earth; God wants us explore and be fruitful. Live in faith.

Endure whatever the situation might be. Enjoy the beauty that this life, the people and the nature has to offer with the right spirit and in right places.

Receive the strength that God provides and walk the extra mile.

Be faithful in everything we do although we don't see the outcome results with our own eyes.

Embrace and confess God's promises. Seek God's heavenly country...for He prepared a place for us who believed.

So friends, believe and continue the next chapter of your book of life above!
Have a bless day my friends!

Looking back!

Hello everyone! If you are like me, you too are  looking forward for what this new year would bring.
But before that, I just want to share nice memories from last year that still I haven't shared yet to blogworld. These pictures were taken in one of our road trips last summer!
Enjoy the scenery and words to ponder!

Then I end this post with my prayer for you and me:

Father God, we all need help to be  a good example in
speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and purity.
You said that if we ask..it will be given to us.
So, I am asking....that we devote ourselves
in your words.
Words that inspires, heals, guides and correct us.
Let us use the gifts that You had given to us for your glory
and for our benefits and others.
I pray in Jesus name. Amen

A love that won't go!

Happy New Year my friend. A new year has begun and the first thing or the best  thing for us  to do first is to seek God's presence. Am I right? For me, it is the best time of my 24 hours a day. During these moments I can learn more of our Creator. In His presence I get my strength and inspirations everyday.  How about you? Is God enriching your life by His presence?

Yes, it is January and it still winter. Cold and it seems that everything in nature is dead.

But we know that it is not.

In my devotion I come to read this story:

An elderly man lay in the hospital, with his wife of 55 years sitting at his bedside. " Is that you, Ethel, at my side again?"  He whispered.
"Yes, dear," she answered.
He softly said to her, " Remember years ago when I was in the Veteran's hospital? You were with me then. You were with me when we lost everything in a fire. And Ethel, when we were poor- you stuck with me then too." The man sighed and said " I tell you, Ethel, you are a bad luck!"

It's only a humorous story, but it reminds us how we can twist the facts and fail to recognize the love and loyalty of someone who cares about us.

Sounds familiar? We too can blame God for every misery or hardship in our lives.

My childhood was a miserable one and I used to blame God for being unfair to me and the rest of my siblings. Why and why? I thought that God didn't care and that he was the one who caused all our sufferings. Little did I know that he was just forming me to be a woman that he wanted me to be. In hardships, God taught me to endure, to hope and trust. When I had no one, he reminded me that I have him. That our lives is like a wheel. Sometimes we are up, sometimes we are down, but we have to keep rolling to get into our destinations. The roads can be rough or smooth, but we have to keep on wheeling.  In addition, the wheels will probaly get punctured, like us, but God is there too, to mend us together again. To infuse some air ( strength) that we needed so that we can continue going. And the reward? "No eyes have seen and no ears have heard yet," Jesus said.

How can we blame someone who is actually the one who is helping us?  But it happens everyday.
Good thing is that God is a forgiving and understanding God. If we have strayed from Him, we can always come back to Him.

Matthew 11: 28  Come unto me all yea that labour and are heavily laden and I will give you rest!

Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail,
In Thee do we trust, nor find Thee to fail;
Thy mercies how tender! How firm to the end!
Our Maker, Defender; Redemer, and a Friend. –Grant

A CHILD OF GOD IS ALWAYS WELCOMED HOME.

Ending this post with this prayer:
This year Oh God,
fill us again with your presence.
Let our minds be in line with your thoughts.
Make our crooked ways straight and our darkness be light.
Let your beauty be seen in us and your goodness be felt through us.
Let us dwell in your awesomeness of your presence.
