Hope I didn't scare you:) What I mean with dead or alive are these statues I found everywere in Barcelona. Actually, they are real, but they are not moving. It is their way to earn money. One can take pictures with them and put money in their buckets. I feel sorry for them because you know, it is really hot and they are clothed from head to toes. But this one moved alright. He let me borrow a snake hat:)
Look at the green man! He call himself " The mask". Imagine standing like that whole day!
A fine blue lady who let me borrow her fan! At least she has an umbrella to protect her from the heat of the sun. But standing there for the whole day I believe is very exhausting. I was happy though that I didn't wear a blue blouse and a blue hat. Or else, the people will give money to me too:)
Anyway, I found these big mammoth in a shopping mall. Luckily, he is not alive:)
Interesting picture! He looks like a man from the Philippines.
The fish is not alive, so I could hug her:)
not this big frog either
or this huge turtle
Now I wanted ice cream in cone! This one suits my thirst.
How about lollipops? These will definitely gives me tooth ache.
Anyway, I found a statue of a real man again! I wonder where is his chair? His been in that position for a very long time now.
Oh I love these sweet angels. They are not alive though:)
At last I found my twin sister. Only, she is taller than me:)
This one is a statue for real!
It is of course a copy from a real person.
Saying goodbye with a statue of this horse. She really made me laugh:))
How about you?
JOY

ReplyDeleteWe had a living statue at our local fair every year. She's quite the artist
ReplyDeleteJoy, I hope you enjoyed your time in Barcelona and I could do with that large ice-cream right now. I really liked those 'live' statues and they must have been so hot wearing all those clothes all day long. It looks like an easy job but just try standing still for hours, it can be really tiring.
ReplyDeleteThe horse made me laugh too, it's just so funny looking. Thanks for entertaining me with those pics. Have a lovely weekend.
