Are you a competitive person?
Whether we like it or not, we have to compete in one way or another.
Life is full is competitions.
We are born to compete. Compete with siblings to begin with maybe.
And then friends...classmates...neighbors..co-workers.
We really do compete with each other.
Not only that, we battle with life's storms,
problems and so on.
We compete with evil so that the righteous wins.
The good things is, we don't need to be alone with our battles.
God is there with us, if we put our trust in Him.
So in every competition,
we need to give our best shot.
Remember:
Winners never quit
and losers never win.
- We mustfix our eyes on Jesus
If we are going to win the race
Working hard at godly living
Trusting in His saving grace.

I am competitive but not in a way where I am out to hurt others. Beautiful post, dear Joy. Have a blessed Easter, my cherished friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Joy, First let me say HAPPY EASTER to you... Looks like you enjoyed a great dinner today (Facebook photo I saw).
ReplyDeleteI think we are all competitive by nature. It's just IN us I think... I love competition --and my sons all participated in lots of competitions (sports/music/school, etc.)... They win some and lose some.. That's just life --and they learn when they lose.
BUT--here in our country, some people are trying to get rid of all competitions since they 'think' that some people will get hurt if they lose or get left out..... I totally disagree --and think that competition is healthy...
Happy Easter again.
Hugs,
Betsy
I am a person that I do not like to compete with others, just motivates me to compete with myself.
ReplyDeleteKeep winning! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
I am very competitive and love to win. My hubby said to me, "Hazel - - can't you let your grandchildren win once in a while." Oh, that hurt but I learned to give them the joy of winning and making Grandma lose. LOL
