Feeding the tigers!

Hi friends! Hope you are all fine and doing well.
Here at home is very quiet. I am having myself and myself as a companion. Well, I have nothing against it. I love quietness. Sign of old age? Maybe.
Anyway, it is good to reminisce my last vacation in the Philipines last february.

As you can see, I am not finished with my blog there yet. There are so much to share. This time is our experience in feeding the tigers.
As I said before, I don't like seeing animals in cage, but if they are free, then I am the one who should be in cage.
Like in this  case. Since we were going to feed the tigers where they roam free, they put us in a cage...I mean a mini bus where we were protected by the lattice. We didn't want to be eaten by hungry tigers, so we were satisfied with it.

Meet the whole family:)

Did you see the tigers roaming around us? Well, they were hungry. One tiger climbed on the roof of the mini buss. We were shocked!

My daughter bought some chicken pieces to feed the animals, but we didn't dare to do it.
Luckily, we had the guide with us.

He feed the tigers. I said, "be careful with your fingers"...thinking of mine..

oh my! The guide opened the small window

I believe he knows what he did!

Well, the tigers seemed to be nice. Actually, the Zoo spares money in  food expenses for the animals because the visitors buy the food for them. Sometimes, when there are so many visitors, the tiger's doesn't want to eat anymore:)
This time, we were lucky. They were hungry!

It was really an adventure for all of us and we were all fascinated, but my youngest grandchild told the guide " dont do it, it is dangerous".

Well, time to change to another bus with a sweeter guide. This time, we were on the way to see an animal show. See you there next time.

Food for the thought:
If you need patience

But let patience have her perfect work,
that ye may be perfect and entire,
wanting nothing.

What's new lately?

How are you dear friends? Hope you are doing fine and enjoying your week so far.
Time goes so fast and soon it will be weekend again.

I thought about the things that I did so far this week.
In between working, blogging, housework and exercising, I still find to do things I love like crocheting.

I made this colorful pot holder from leftover yarns.

Pineapple cake without icing, that I served to the elderly. I don't use so much icing because they are sweet enough.

Muffins with chopped chocolate inside.

Photography is one of my hobby. So if I need a model, my cat will do, although she is sleeping:)

Love flowers too. I find them everywhere. Orchids at the nursing home.

artificial flowers, but nice

Easter color in Norway

Beautiful sunset today

But the best part was when my daughter came to eat dinner with me today. I made spaghetti, She loved it and we had  a nice talk afterwards.

How about you? What have you been doing lately?  Are you ok?

Words to ponder:

If you are hopeless

For everything that was written in the past
 was written to teach us,
so that through endurance and encouragement
of the scriptures we might have HOPE.

Spring time is here!

How are you doing my blog friends? I hope you are enjoying what ever season of the year in your part of hemisphere.
Here in Norway, we are in the beginning of springtime. More light, it is getting warmer and the flowers are beginning to come out from their hibernate.

One sunny day, I decided to roam around to see signs of spring everywhere.
I found these flowers along the road. They are really happy to feel the the heat of the sun after a cold winter.

Yellow flower by itself,  but stretching out.

Still, there are some places where the snow didn't  completely  melt yet. I called this a bird snow.

Someone is riding a horse?

Or else, the sky is blue, but the ground  still looks  desolate.

Not so much leaves on the trees that had been sprouted yet.

Anyway, I took my bike and strolled to Trollskogen ( Troll forest) Here is a little bit greener, as you can see. Maybe the trolls has a secret formula here.

Come and join me and take a look if there is a life inside.

Say hello to the trollls that lives here.

So quiet in here. No birds singing, no kids playing in the water.

Anyway, the reflection of the cottage in the water is amazing to see.  Don't you agree?

Look at the reflection of the trees!  Awesome! Here can we look at the trees downwards.

Well, I don't really like it in here. Seems a scary place to be. What do you think?

Well, let us go out from this solitary place and look for a brighter side.

Out where we can see the blue skies

and the clouds that are freely dancing in the ballroom of the sky

As you can see, spring time is here. I hope  the snow will not come back again in this time of year.

Anyway, saying godbye again and see you next post.

Thoughts to ponder:

If you want to develop good character

Fire tests the purity of silver and gold,
but the Lord tests the heart.
