Rain and shine!

These last few days, the weather was so unstable. It is in the month of June, but still it rains a lot, although sun shines in between. Well, I cannot change the weather, but I can make something out of it.

I have been making stuff toys lately, so for a change  I made these pot holders. It looks more like small dresses for dolls, but they are pot holders. Maybe more on to decorate the kitchen than to protect my hands from hot pots:)

This is how it looks like hanging on my kitchen wall.

Well, the rain won't stop so I might do something more with my hands....... So I managed to create a few cards.

Rain or shine I just want to thank God our creator for:

painting the road sides with these flowers.....

and for giving us the strength and sunshine in between so that we managed to clean, repair and paint our boat. Now , she is ready to be used again.

and lastly for the sunset at the end of the day.

" Thought for the day"

  9. love the cards esp the one with the musical notes and the "barbie" themed one. you can make money out of your very creative hands...

...i don't get high grades on arts, when we were required to do scrapbook during school days, you can instantly judge to just scrap mine... i don't play well with the scissors, the colors and the shapes.. i just don't know, guess it's not really for me... you are very talented joy.

  13. Wow, wish it would rain here more often. I might be more creative. The sun is shining brightly as it does almost every day of the year here. I used to crochet a lot but not in recent years. I remember crocheting throw rugs when I was about 7 years old. Wow, that was a long time ago.
    Blessings,

It has been like this here in Spain too. A couple of days, with the sun and then back to 17ºC with lots of rain. Forecast said it will rain tons this coming weekend :( ... oh well.. rain is also a blessing and hopefully, like you, I can make good use of the time that we can't go out the house because of the rain.

I love the cards! What do you do with all of them? :)
