Last forever

 Scripture:

Isaiah 40:8
"The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever."

Reflection with a Personal Story:
A few years ago, I planted a little flower box outside my front door. I remember the joy it brought me watching those tiny green shoots grow into vibrant, blooming colors. It brightened my days every time I walked by. But then autumn came. The leaves withered, the stems turned brown, and before I knew it, all that beauty was gone—just a memory and a box of dirt.

Life feels like that sometimes, doesn’t it? We pour our energy into things—relationships, goals, possessions—and then they fade, break, or disappear. It can leave us feeling empty or even disoriented. But in the middle of all that change, there is something that will never wither or fade: God’s Word.

When the world feels unstable, His Word is a steady anchor. When what we love is taken from us or falls apart, His promises remain firm. His Word is true yesterday, today, and forever. It's the one thing we can build our lives on that won't crumble.
