Magic fountain at night!

At last, after waiting for some hours to get darker to watch the magical fountain, we can now experience the magical moments. This is how it looks like at night at the city square.
Come along and enjoy magical fountains at night together with hundreds of people.
I included light quotes to ponder in betweeen.

Who is more foolish, the child afraid of the dark or the man afraid of the light?  ~Maurice Freehill

Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.  ~Chinese Proverb

There are two kinds of light - the glow that illumines, and the glare that obscures.  ~James Thurber

Firelight will not let you read fine stories but it's warm and you won't see the dust on the floor.  ~Irish Proverb

We cannot hold a torch to light another's path without brightening our own.  ~Ben Sweetland

Light gives of itself freely, filling all available space.  It does not seek anything in return; it asks not whether you are friend or foe.  It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished.  ~Michael Strassfeld

Live in rooms full of light.  ~Cornelius Celsus

We are each gifted in a unique and important way. It is our privilege and our adventure to discover our own special light.  ~Evelyn Dunbar

You can't have a light without a dark to stick it in.  ~Arlo Guthrie

There are two ways of spreading light; to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.  ~Edith Wharton

People are like stained-glass windows.  They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.  ~Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.  ~Maori Proverb

The hero is the one who kindles a great light in the world, who sets up blazing torches in the dark streets of life for men to see by.  The saint is the man who walks through the dark paths of the world, himself a light.  ~Felix Adler

Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.  ~Anthony J. D'Angelo

A sensible man will remember that the eyes may be confused in two ways - by a change from light to darkness or from darkness to light; and he will recognize that the same thing happens to the soul.  ~Plato

When you possess light within, you see it externally.  ~Anaïs Nin

You can owe nothing, if you give back its light to the sun.  ~Antonio Porchia

Dare to reach out your hand into the darkness, to pull another hand into the light.  ~Norman B. Rice

Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair...  ~Susan Polis Shutz

From within or from behind, a light shines through us upon things, and makes us aware that we are nothing, but the light is all.  ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary.  ~Aaron Rose

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
John 8:12

  12. I like the quote of James Thurber as well as most of them. Each quote can be expounded with stories and anecdotes. May I know what you were feeling while watching the light and sound show? When I saw one, a smaller version though, the shooting water gave me a feeling of flight and freedom while the light that goes with it dramatized the movement of the water. It is just like people, the water as our actions while the light as our guide. When we know how our positive actions can influence people then we do the right thing. When nobody guides us with our actions then we become wayward.

  13. I was of course very impressed. It was like in a fairy tale world. Only, siksikan sa dami tao at nakikipagagawan ako sa pagkuha ng picture at pag video sa cell phone ko:) kung napaaga kami at nakaupo sa medyo mataas na lugar, mas ng enjoy sana ako.
Anyway, once in a lifetime experience talaga na di ko malilimutan Jonathan:)
Nice insight jonathan about the water and the light:)
