Victoria doll!

Hi my friends!  A new day has began for us to enjoy. To do something good to ourselves and to others.  Be creative. Be inspired and inspires someone.

I'm still free from work, and although I love my job, it is good to have free from it now and then  and do some of my hobbies like crotheting.
This time I found Victoria doll to make!

I found the instructions from this magazine

Actually, I began with this doll since last summer, but I was not able to finish it until now.
This is the body..

My version! I put my own design in it:) Here without a nose

and now complete!

Or else, the winter came this year too...

and spread it's beauty

Magical moments...

How about you? Have you been busy yesterday?

Ending this post with a prayer for you and me:

Love...
Father God, remind us everyday that all our works and toils, patience,
endurance, bearing one another and not being weary of doing good
is of no value if we don't have love.
Because if we have love, we can do all these things.

So, I pray that we will live Your love,
nurture and explore it.
Breath everyday your goodness bathe in your holiness.
I pray in Jesus name.

How fast the time goes!

Yes, time goes so fast. Soon it will be 2015 and for many they are looking forward for the coming year with joy and expectation of good things to come. For others it will be a year with awaiting difficulties in some area of their lives.
Anyway, it is good to remember the good days especially this Christmas.

Mine had been so good so far.The snow came and it was a white Christmas.
I worked at Christmas eve from  8.00- 13.00 in the nursery home. It was a delight to see the elderly in their best suits and we felt that the day was very special. We sung Christmas songs too. A young priest with earrings on his both ears came to hold a mass for the elderly. But he was welcomed with open arms. He did a great job by the way.

Her was I taking pictures to be sent to my husband onbord the ship....

and greetings  to all!

Me and my youngest daughter.

Anyway, we really enjoyed being together with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and her family. We did talk about our nice experiences this year and were thankful for all the gifts.

The foods we ate! Typical Norwegian Christmas food.

ThenI spent my Christmas day with my sister and brother-in-law and they served lots of foods too although we were only three to eat all the goodies:)

Yesterday was a day to just rest. I watched tv and crocheted a pair of potholder.

How about you? How did you spent your Christmas?
Ending this post with  thoughts to ponder and a prayer.

Being a foreigner!
Yes, I am in this country.. and also once in God's kingdom.
But through Jesus and His blood,
I became one of God's children.
Near to God than ever before.
But the good news is that you can be too if you surrender your life to God.

Thank you Jesus for reconciling us to God...we who believes...
who accepted your offer of forgiveness.
Thank you for being our Saviour, that we are reminded every Christmas.
Thank you for the peace that you brought in our souls.
Dear God, help us to act as Your children...
believing and claiming promises from your words.
I pray that we won't give  a place in our lives to the enemy.
Just be always in your territory.
Sorround us with the shield of Your protection...everyday.
I pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

Special night for the girls!

Hi friends! Hope you are doing fine and having fun preparing for the joyous season. About me, I am having fun too despite of the hectic schedule because of the season. But best season of the year. This night I am going to meet the other girls in our group that is called " Taste of the earth" to a dinner date. Not all the  members could come, but still we decided to enjoy the night. We are a bunch of girls who have  different nationalities who finds joy and comfort being with each other.
Here I am ready to depart for the night. Excited huh!

This is the place where we having our dinner. Hovde g√•rd. It is both a hotel and a restaurant. It was an old school and a barn for some years ago.

Meet the young once  and the young girls
Me and Jessa, who both came from the Philippines

Joanna and Chris from USA

Monica from Poland. It was her first time to meet us. She is new here in Norway.

Randi, a Norwegian and Thea from the Philippines.

Leny from the left  side is from the Philippines and Maria to the right is from Bulgaria.

Cheers for the coming year.

Anyway, we  also came there for the food, so these are what we ordered.

We were all hungry, but picture first for the girls.....

and me too!

After eating we had exchange gift and this is what I got. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of the other's gifts because we were having so much fun.

Anyway, after eating and opening the gifts, we decided to talk about our achievements and good memories this year, challenges that we had been through and plans for next year. Everybody shares the good memories and one of the best is what we had done as a group last summer. Going to the beach, danzing Zumba and out in the restaurant for dinner. Some of them that are still new here in Norway, struggles with the language and getting a work. But still with hope that one day, everyhing will be alright.
We already had a plan for the month of January which is we are going to the Bowling hall.  In February, it will be a love month party which I will be organizing. Or else many of us will going to travel to our home countries to visit our homelands next year.
Anyway, before midnight, time to say goodbye and while we wait for our turn to pay our bills, we took the chance to take pictures of each other.

Me of course since I am the author! :)

Bye for now. Ending this post with  a prayer  for you and me:

Dear God, I pray that we desire to love you with all our hearts, souls and strengths.
That we should not be friend of the world and forget your words.
I pray for your love to reign in our hearts.
We are in need of your wisdom to avoid the virus of this world.
Fill our mouths with your words....in every battle we take.
I pray in Jesus name.
